Marrying A Tree
Well according to the future wife they really do exist and upon hearing this I was so baffled I had to look into exactly what this was all about. The weddings of this type can be taken even further accessories for the bathroom.
The first thing that came into her head was the wedding dress. Of course the dress has to be “the most lovely and beautiful thing I have ever worn”. Whenever I ask what the importance of doing all of this is I simply get “Because it is” and then the conversation ends which is always good. There are now actually ways in which you can find designers that source only organic materials. This basically means that no harmful chemicals are used in the process of making the dress. On top of this it means that my bill for the dress is going to be a lot higher.
This is the same when it comes to your jewellery and even your hair as there are hairstylists that will only use organic and natural products. It gets even worse than this if and I thought this was bad!
Stationary, albums as well as guestbooks can all be made using recycled card and paper making the bill ever growing for me. Another thing is that she wants all of the food to be sourced locally.
The wedding cake can be made using free range eggs and organic and fair-trade ingredients can be used just literally add the icing to the cake on my bill. I suppose it doesnt matter what kind of materials I am using as I should be glad that I am getting married at all.
Of course it isn’t to stop on the wedding day, oh no once we move into our new place the new wife wants eco kitchen accessories as well as recycled glass vases yes she really is taking it this far.
Proper Wear of Wedding Rings
Wedding rings as a sign of being married have been around almost as long as man has existed it seems. Wedding rings have been in use for thousands of years, since the time of the Egyptians and maybe before, to symbolize the unon of marriage. In fact rings along with other token symbols were often used as a pledge for important agreements and this happened with the important agreement of marriage too.
Wedding rings have a history of what they have been constituted of, from the lowly ring of leather, to the slightly less supple wooden ring, then iron and the more precious silver, depending on what was affordable or what materials were available. But ultimately the gold wedding band has been the best preference, mainly because of its value, purity, rarity and durability
The circular shape of the ring has a symbolic meaning, representing perfection and a continuous love without end, standing for the endless love of the couple. The unbroken circle is an age-old symbol of eternity and for marriage, everlasting love. It is also a symbol of the couple’s love and commitment and a token of possession. This doesn’t mean that the man has taken possession of the woman, but symbolizes the woman receiving something precious from her beloved which is hers to treasure. Hence the relevance of using a precious metal, such as gold or platinum and often the inclusion of a diamond or precious gem. The diamond in diamond wedding rings traditionally represents innocence in the bride.
As for where the ring is traditionally worn, it is usually placed on the third finger which in ancient times was believed to be connected to a vein running directly to the heart, the seat of love. The left hand is a bit closer to the heart than the right, so it became the tradition to have the wedding ring on the left. In some cultures, however, the ring is worn on the right hand because in this case the right hand is associated with righteousness and good conduct.
Most of us today use wedding rings as a way to go public about our intentions and commitment to share a loving relationship with one special person for life. The marriage ring is a token which symbolizes a pledge of everlasting love
Nowadays too, how the ring looks, its attractiveness, and how much it is worth, are all important factors that go into choosing a wedding ring that fits the occasion. The inclusion of a precious stone, such as a diamond in both men’s and women’s wedding bands is also a popular choice. people are no longer settling for the usual plain band oin yellow gold, narrow for the lady and broader for the man , but are being offered much more creative and personalized choices, designed to suit an individual’s taste and preferred style, perhaps encrusted with. The marriage ring is a very important and emotional piece of jewelry that needs some thought before purchasing because it is hopefully going to be around for a very long time

The Deal with Diamonds
If you are looking to buy that special someone an engagement ring or a ring to show how much you care you should first be knowledgeable about diamonds. By knowing some basics about diamonds you can make a smart choice which will also fit into your budget. The more you know about diamonds the better you will be at the finding a high quality diamond at a reasonable price. Initially, you should be aware of the four C’s: color, cut, clarity, and carat weight. These are the things they use to obtain the value of the diamond.
One thing to consider is the brilliance of the diamond depends heavily on its cut. The cut give a diamond the brightness that makes it shine. The diamond cut is on a grading scale which is; Ideal, Very Good, Good and Fair/Poor cuts. The Ideal cut gives maximum brilliance and is more expensive. Very Good cut diamonds let in a lot of the light and have a good deal of brilliance. The Good cut allows there to be decent quality and brilliance for an affordable price. Fair to Poor cuts only reflect a small portion of light and most reputable jewelers to do not carry this cut.
It is normal for diamonds to contain some type of flaw or inclusions that happened when they were formed in the earth. The clarity of a diamond takes into account the number, size and visibility of the flaws. The less flawed diamond will create more brilliance and therefore are highly prized and pricier. It is possible to find a diamond with some imperfections that still has brilliance and sparkle.
No color is the most desirable in a diamond because it allows the most reflection of light. Jewelers refer to a professional color scale to grade the color of a diamond. The highest rating is the letter “D” for colorless and the color scale goes to Z. Diamonds that are graded J through M may have a very faint hint of yellow in the diamond and look stunning in a gold setting.
The unit of weight a diamond is measured by is called a carat. Smaller diamonds are going to be less expensive than the larger ones because they are more common. The standard is usually the larger the diamond is, the higher the price will be. Your budget will help determine the size of diamond you will want to choose. You will find the size and quality of diamond you desire if you compare enough diamonds.
Diamond Certificates are important to obtain when looking for diamonds. The Diamonf Certificate will supply you with all the diamond’s most important information. It will have the specifications of the 4C’s and also a diagram explaining all aspects of the diamond. If you buy an uncertified diamond you are not going to know exactly what you’re getting. The Diamond Certificate is like a blue print on the diamond and will have all the properties listed. An appraisal is not the same as a certificate; an appraisal gives the approximate retail replacement value of the diamond.
A diamond engagement ring can be a substantial investment and you should choose carefully and wisely. If you use the information provided you will be able to make a knowledgeable decision. By being informed you will be able to get the best quality diamond that will fit within your budget.

The Pros of the Kimberley Process
The Kimberley Process is an initiative by governments, industry leaders and civil societies to curtail the flow of conflict diamonds. Conflict diamonds are rough diamonds whose profits are used by rebel movements to fund wars against governments. These illicit stones have fueled devastating conflicts in countries such as Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) imposes strict requirements on its members to enable them to certify shipments of rough diamonds are “conflict free.”
The United Nations in 1997 placed Angola under sanctions which forbid countries from buying diamonds from them. This was the first time that a resolution explicitly mentoined conflict diamonds with funding a war. In the 1990’s it was estimated that 20% of the total production of diamonds were being sold for illegal purposes. The illegal diamond trade was reduced to 3 by 1999.06% by the World Diamond Council.
Southern African diamond producing companies met in May of 2000 to plan a method that would halt the trading of conflict diamonds. The diamond industry's main figures convened and created the World Diamond Council in 2001. They set out to draft a new process where rough diamonds could be certified as coming from a non conflict source.
The biggest weakness of the Kimberley Process is how it is monitored. Any country can become a member of the Kimberley Process just by sending a letter to the European Commission president. Even if the country doesn’t meet the standards of the Kimberley Process it can still become a member. Some conflict diamonds still manage to pass the Kimberley Certification Scheme. The war against conflict diamond trading has vastly improved.
The Kimberley system increases the transparency of governments by forcing them to keep records of the diamonds they are exporting and importing and how much they are worth. This means that a government can be accountable for spending for the benefit of the country’s population because it is known how much the government has made.
The US prohibited importation of rough diamonds from Sierra Leone in accordance with the UN resolution. It also banned importation from Liberia because they were recognized as acting like a pipeline for conflict diamonds. The KPCS became law in the United States in 2003 and was one of the major reasons this scheme could succeed. That is because the US is the largest consumer of diamonds.
A conflict free diamond is a diamond whose profits are not used to fund wars. It has also been mined and produced under ethical conditions. Only diamonds that are certified and can be traced from the mine to the consumer are considered conflict free diamonds. Blood diamonds are still a concern, but with the Kimberley Process in place it makes the world more aware of the problem. When you are searching for a diamond ring make sure that you confirm what type of diamonds the jeweler uses and make sure they are KPCS.

Mother of the Bride Fashions
Looking for Mother of the Bride dresses? Welcome to PetiteMotheroftheBridedress.com – your source for all of your bridal needs.
This is a very delicate matter to some brides of how best to approach the matter of what you would like your petite Mother to wear on your big day. There are a couple of guidelines that she should follow. One of them would be, what does your wedding gown look like? Is it short, less formal, sleeveless and made of a more casual material? Is your wedding during the day, evening or night? These sometimes dictate as to what should be worn. But if you have chosen a formal wedding gown with a bridal train that is flowing, will dictate the theme? To be sure, your Mother will want to look her best on that day, too!
Since you found my site, I am assuming that she is petite. Sometimes being petite is a hindrance. A smaller body looks frumpy in an oversized dress, too much material and mid-calf length, sometimes referred to as “tea length”.Making a decision for what she should wear if she is heavy will be arduous. It takes a special person to be a model! So here are my suggestions to help your Mother decide what length dress she will look best in.Since I do not know the theme of the wedding and what the Bride will wear, let us guess that formal attire is appropriate for the time of day.
The Petite Mother of the Bride could wear a long gown that has a jacket that she could take off after the wedding and during the reception. I suggest this because if it is an evening wedding, it might start getting cooler as the night goes on.A long gown is always fashionable, along with the Bridal Party depending on their length of of dress.
Remember, the Mother of the Bride should try and color-coordinate with what the Bride has chosen for the color theme of the whole wedding. The dress that the Mother wears should be complimentary in color to the Bridesmaids. If the Bride has chosen a lime green color theme, then maybe the Mother should wear a muted yellow. Just make sure that all the colors compliment each other. You don’t want the Mother of the Bride in a shocking red satin dress and the rest of the Bridal Party in light blue chiffon.
In other words, it’s the Bride’s day, so the Mother should not try to outdo or grab the attention. Also, think what the pictures of the day will look like when everyone is together having pictures done. It should all flow beautifully with great colors that blend together.
The petite Mother of the Bride must use good judgement in finding a uncomplicated outfit and accessories. Understated is always in style, you won’t go wrong with that and it is always classy.
There are many places to buy your dresses for the wedding. Whichever route you decide to take for purchasing your dresses, make sure that there is a return policy just in case you decide that it doesn’t suit you or the size is incorrect. You will save money on your Petite Mother of the Bride Dress by ordering online, and a whole lot of time, which is very important when there is a wedding to plan. And just think, you will also have one more “to do” thing off your list. By the way, Happy Wedding….now go enjoy your planning and have a superb wedding!
Custom Wedding Rings: Personal and Unique
For those looking for something a little different for their wedding rings, there is nothing better then getting personalized wedding rings. There are so many people who end up with the same bands and engagement rings that they tend to all start to look alike. While some people may not mind this at all, there are many other people who can truly appreciate having custom wedding rings as a way to mark their special day. Showing each other how much you care and love one another can be accomplished through such personalized jewelry.
Having one of a kind rings are also a way of bringing a little bit of the individual personalities to the wedding. It is a way of truly expressing the love they have for each other in their own special words. Maybe it is a special saying that has a unique meaning to the happy couple that can be engraved on the top of the rings or on the inside of the rings. Either way, it is a special way to show affection to one another.
A traditional romantic phrase or statement of fidelity is always popular – “Forever,” “Soulmate,” “The One.”. Including the wedding date (especially in Roman numerals) is a very popular choice for personalization. You can have the date written out or have it engraved as elegant Roman numerals.
Adding the names of the happy couple is another great way to put together the personalized wedding rings. It could be a nickname that is used, just a first name, or a first name with the middle name or middle initial. Either way, names are a fantastic and very popular way to express individuality in the custom wedding rings. Those who are going through their second wedding together may want to go a different route though.
If the happy couple had a child or two together, the rings could be engraved with the names of their children making it all that much more special. Special savings or phrases are another popular way of expressing the undying love the couple has for one another. The words true love, soul mate, forever, and twin souls are just a few words that could be used for personalized wedding rings.
Once you have decided what type of words or sayings you want engraved in the rings, it is time to decide what language you want it in. While English is the most common language chosen, other languages choices can add an air of the exotic. If you want to take heritage into consideration then you may want to have your personalized wedding rings engraved with a language that represents who you are. Chinese symbols are also a great way to express your love for one another and leaving the message secret from other people.
In the end it is all about what the two of you want as a couple. What makes it special for you will be different then what makes it special for someone else. Choose what you love and has meaning to you and you’ll express your personalily.
The Proper Banquet Theme can bring Your Event Together
One can always procure a motivation for hosting a banquet. Whether it’s a wedding reception, a prom, a work related celebration, a retirement or some other purpose, you’re creating a special night for a special purpose. Since you wish that your party will be successful and that your guests will really enjoy themselves, uniting everything with a theme is ideal for using your decor and presentations to help achieve this.
Although you are somewhat limited because of your incident, you can still be creative when you create this evening’s theme. If you are looking for a theme or mood for a particular evening that you are entertaining use the seasons as your guide. A December feast connotes a winter or Christmas motif, on the other hand early summer would have you think of an image and decor of vacation or beach.
It’s often a good move to put together a theme committee to take ideas and think though what would be a good theme that fits the purpose of the banquet and creates the right mood. If it’s a celebration such as a prom or a seasonal party, you have a lot of leverage for a theme. But even in the case of a wedding reception or a company annual Christmas party where you have the purpose of the banquet to keep in mind, you can create a theme around a color scheme or something related to the event that can inspire a lot of creative ideas in your committee.
Brainstorming in a committee has its advantage, that is, you benefit from the different talents of the group. You have the practical minded people on the team who know what you can and cannot get away with thematically and what you can and cannot afford from a budget perspective. And if you have on the same committee the creative people who know how to dream up wonderful banquet themes and ideas to make the banquet magical, you can eventually arrive at a theme that’s both fun and exciting and realistic as well.
Once you decide on a banquet theme for your banquet, you can get everyone working on that specific theme. Once your theme is chosen, smaller commitees can handle the details for you. If everyone sticks to the plan, your banquet will be recalled by all of the guests as a wonderful experience. Banquet Tablecloths is another aspect to carefully consider.
