My love of designer handbags began when I was a child. When a woman has a perfectly matching handbag to her outfit, she looks absolutely beautiful. Throughout my youth, I made many collages from the pictures of handbags that I found in magazines. I have ate more macaroni and cheese than I needed to to have enough money for my next handbag purchase, but I still have not spent more than $1000 on a handbag yet.

I spend time every week to keep up on the latest trends and handbags that are all the rage. Is it me or are they getting more expensive? I was sure I knew how much the women’s handbags cost, but it wasn’t close to what I thought they were worth. I thought I would write about some of the ones that caught my eye because of the price, and the perceived worth of these same items.

If I had to pick my favorite out of all of the hand bags that I looked at, I would have to say that Fendi would be my favorite design house. Though they are continuously innovating, their bags continue to have a classic look to them. Fendi designs some of the most desired handbags in the fashion industry, and the “B.Bag” is the most in-demand handbag in the world. Some might find the price to be a little more than they wanted to spend, but the attention that you will get will well be worth it.

One of my other favorite designers would be Hermes, especially the Birkin bag Named after the famed British actress Jane Birkin, they give you the glamour of an actress and catch eyes. They are also one of the most replicated bags, so you need to be careful when shopping for one. You can only get these bags through special order, and the price depends on the material costs. It is one of those things that a woman needs in her collection.

The last one of my top three would be the Muse handbag from Yves Saint Laurent. It is a very traditional handbag, but I love it. After the first time I saw her in the store, I knew that I would have to buy one someday.

This list should just be a starting point for you, but bear in mind that there are other wonderful handbags on the market. With the number of handbags on the market, there are endless possibilities for you to be the woman that you want to be.
